BIOGRAPHY
Eli Singalovski (b. 1984, St. Petersburg, Russia) is a visual artist who lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel and Hamburg, Germany. He received a B.F.A. from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem in 2014 and an M.F.A. from the HFBK, Hamburg in 2022.
He is a recipient of several awards and scholarships, among those are the Israeli Minister of Culture Award in the field of Visual Arts for the year 2021, the Lauren and Mitchell Presser Photography Award for a Young Israeli Artist for the year 2019 by the Tel Aviv Museum of Arts, The EPSON Award for excellence in the art of photography (Israel) and the Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen fellowship program (Germany).
His work has been showcased in solo and group exhibitions at various venues, including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Tel Aviv, Israel; The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Herzliya, Israel; Münchner Stadtmuseum, Munich, Germany; The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Israel; Feinberg Projects Gallery, Tel Aviv, Israel; The Negev Museum, Beer-Sheva, Israel; Berlin Art Week, Berlin, Germany; Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, Germany; Museum on The Seam, Jerusalem, Israel; Haifa City Museum, Haifa, Israel; Litvak Contemporary Gallery, Tel Aviv, Israel.
